The planning is done individually for each apprentice in agreement with the PHEI and their programme.
Great emphasis is put on the reception of new employees – both regular employees and students. They first present them the new environment, co-workers and internal rules. Once familiar with this, students begin with the deployment program that is individual for each department. The mentor monitors, advises, directs, gives feedback, and helps students on their way to independent work.
The mentor gives an oral assessment of the work. They do not have an established assessment procedure by they would most welcome one.
On the basis of students suggestions the introduced quite a few improvements of procedures.
Improved collaboration with the PHEI and better insight into possible pool of new employees.
Some former apprentices were employed by the company on regular and permanent basis.
