As an SME the company provides conditions for apprenticeships for Level 5 students on their request.
The apprenticeship is planed after the student’s visit to the company with the request for an apprenticeship placement. If the interest of the student and company match enter the further process of preparation and planning. The documentation of the PHEI includes the description of PHEI’s expectations of the apprenticeship and based on that the plan is prepared and agreed. All the mentors are certified.
As the company is small, mentoring is not regulated, neither planned nor organized. The organization responds to the needs of students if the work process for the period in which the student wants to pursue allows it. The company does not search for apprentices for recruiting or new quality employees.
The goals are designed according to the SMART method, in line with the PHEI expectations. They carry out the verification and evaluation according to the attached form.
They accept students who want to work in their company. Students bring in new energy, the company always tries benefit from their knowledge, which is usually new to them, giving them a sense of self-confidence and usefulness. Students quickly join the team. Targets are defined in such a way that the units are adapted to the individual’s abilities. Their goal is to enable the student to manage as many tasks as possible independently or as soon as possible to be involved in the work process.
There rarely some communication issues, which are always solved directly with a student or contact person at the PHEI.
Benefits of students bringing new knowledge and motivation to regular staff.
